[Review & Giveaway] Go Green Champ Diaper #Rafflecopter CLOSED

I am a newbie when it comes to cloth diapering.  I started with my 4th (and final) child because I never knew the growing trend in cloth diapering with my first 3 kids.  I was a little hesitant to start at first because, of course, the only opinions I heard were from my Grandparents who had no choice but to cloth diaper.  They didn’t like how they soaked through, or didn’t fit right, etc.  But with today’s cloth diaper is so much easier to use, just has clean as disposable diapers and keeps the earth a better place when you think of how many disposable diapers you aren’t throwing away.  Plus, the savings of not having
to buy diapers and the convenience of not running out in the middle of the night.

I was thrilled to review a Go Green Champ Diaper.  It is one of my favorites!  It has many features that make it an easy transition from disposable diapering to cloth diapering.

1. It has the dual gusset on both sides to prevent leaking (of any kind).

2. Go Green Champ features a snap in insert so the insert doesn’t slide or shift while baby is on the move!

3. I love the color coded snaps to make it easier to snap them together quickly.  This comes in handy as Noah gives me less than a minute now for a change before trying to take off.

4. And for when Noah really doesn’t give me any time to change him, I can use the optional velcro attachment.  The strip attaches to the snaps and becomes a velcro diaper.

5. And its really easy to clean - Just throw the wet diapers in the washer (soiled diapers do need to be rinsed appropriately before the wash) and the insert will fall out of the pocket diaper on it’s own.

Noah would have occasional diaper rash with the disposables and he hasn’t had one problem with the Go Green Champ Diaper.  And one of my favorite parts of cloth diapering - all of the colors and prints you can choose from!  I’m happy to say, my little man and I have adjusted to cloth diapering very well.  It was so easy, I might be able to talk Daddy into learning the ropes. :P

  2. Oops, my last post should have been in the "extra info" section. The cost savings convinced me to go for cloth diapering. Started when my son was 8 mo and still think it will be worth it.

  4. Cost factor, all the way. Then I realized how adorable the prints were and how good I felt doing the wash and knowing we weren't filling the landfills.

  5. Started cloth diapering because of the money savings, but we would still do it even just for the health reasons. Been cloth diapering for over a year now, and going to have two in diapers when our next baby comes in january!

  8. We decided to cloth diaper mainly because of the cost, but also because we just thought they were so cool! My hubby and I both were in love with them from the moment we saw them in real life. I'm so thankful for my friend who let us come over and touch and feel and see them, because it's so overwhemlming when you first start that I don't know if we would have done it without her help!

  9. I started with cloth diapers with my first but then after she grew so fast, I didn't keep up with it. With my second I want to use gDiapers I think.

  10. We started cloth diapering to save money. Our son had an allergy to most disposables except the most expensive kind and we didn't want to risk repeating that with our daughter.

  15. A friend posted on facebook about the chemicals in disposeables. Then there was a comment linking to Cottonbabies.com. This showed me that they were easy to use like disposable. Plus it would save me lots of money in the long run. My boy used to get lots of rashes and that has been cut in half since we started cloth.

  17. I love fluff! I started cloth diapering because we had one baby and 3 months later were pregnant with the next! With one income and 5 people, we needed to save money. But I have truly grown to adore cloth! Oh, by the way, I trued to enter my color selection in the extra info section and I think I clicked enter accidentally. I would choose the Poople or the Noir!

  18. I CD not because of any ONE benefit, but because of them all - you'd be crazy to choose not to (knowing about the modern approach ... I've had the Grandparent's comments too ;) ) -krystylwaechter@gmail.com

  19. I started CDing due to finances (cause its sooo much cheaper!), and frankly because they are adorable! There are so many benefits!!!

  22. The biggest benefit of cloth diapering for me is the amount of money that I save each month on diapers! Not to mention that I know that no chemicals touch my son.

  24. My LO is almost 3 months and we started cloth diapering when she came home at 3 weeks (she was a preemie). The first month or so we used cloth on a part time basis, but are now using cloth full time. We have been building up our stash a little bit at a time and trying a little of everything. Still trying to determine what we like best: pockets, AIO, prefolds, flats.

  25. We don't have any kiddos yet but when we do we are going to be using cloth diapers. The big thing that brought cloth diapers to my attention is the huge cost savings! I also love how stinking cute they are!!

  27. my son is super sensitive to most disposables so instead of spending a ton on chlorine free diapers we decided to use cloth

  28. Where do I start? Lack of chemicals, saving a bundle on cost, and helping the environment were my top reasons.

  29. Once my brother told me what you do with the poop (it goes in the toilet -- duh), and how much money we could save, I was convinced. We haven't officially started yet, since the little man doesn't arrive for a few more weeks

  30. Not contributing to the landfill atrocities of disposables, and the health benefits of cloth convinced me it was the only way to go! I love cloth diapers!

  34. We initially considered cloth because of the cost. After a few weeks, I noticed my oldest had rashes every time we put her in a disposable. Cloth works for our sensitive skinned children, it's cheaper and it's more environmentally friendly. It's not even a contest!

  36. i will start CD when my LO comes in a few months! we decided to because of the savings.

  37. We started CDing when my 2nd son was 8 weeks old, just big enough to fit the OS dipes. I was very skeptical. The better brands of disposables were super pricy, we were spending $50+ a month, so I decided we'd give it a shot. I figured even if we only CDd part time, if I did it for at least a couple months we wouldnt be losing any money. As soon as we got the first diaper on him I was sold. Within 2 days we were building our stash up to CD full time, and havent looked back 13 months later. My 2 1/2 yr old is in cloth trainers now too. And, Im so excited, but Ive convinced a close friend to CD her second child who is due in Feb, so we are buying most of her stash too :-)
