[Review & Giveaway] Baby Bond Nursing Cover #Rafflecopter CLOSED

Sponsored by Tomoson.com

Breastfeeding is a huge part of my parenting style.  With my first son, I opted to nurse him in the car or just be home around his feeding schedule.  As a first time mom, it just felt more comfortable to me.  When I had twins, nursing in public was essential if I had any intentions of leaving the house.  So, I got used to carrying multiple receiving blankets with me for any sort of privacy for nursing in public.  Then, things would become difficult when the baby would unlatch or squirm and pull the blanket down.

With my 4th child, now 5 months old, nursing in public has become even easier since I discovered Baby Bond's nursing cover.  Their concept is to "Cover Mom, not Baby".  Brilliant!!  So, now when I nurse Noah in public or with company over in my home, I can look down and still bond with my baby instead of having to hide him under a blanket.

The nursing cover I chose to review was an espresso Baby Bond Couture style nursing cover.  I chose it because it can be used for both nursing above or your neckline/button up shirt or underneath your shirt.  With the versatility of this nursing cover, I can comfortably nurse in public with anything I'm wearing.
Drape the cover over one shoulder and hang towards the opposite hip.  This will allow for two layers to cover the breast.  Prepare to breastfeed and when ready, separate the top and bottom layers to expose the nipple for breastfeeding.  Mom stays completely covered while the baby is latched on.

Wear the Baby Bond nursing cover around the belly so it looks as if you're wearing an undershirt.  When it's time to nurse, lift your shirt for breastfeeding and the belly stays covered.  The material is a loose fitting cotton and I would have preferred if it had more of an elastic material, maybe to hide some of Mom's imperfections in the midsection and to keep it from falling while wearing it all day.  I don't wear it all the time but I do keep it with me at all times. And, I love that you can roll it up and keep it in the purse or diaper bag at all times.

Baby Bond Original offers a built in burp cloth on the shoulder to immediately burp your baby and protect you from any aftermath.  Included, is it’s own matching carrying case.

Baby Bond Flex offers a strap to hold your burp cloth on your shoulder for easy clean up and is stored in it’s own carrying pouch with drawstring close.

All Baby Bond styles are 100% Cotton, made in USA and machine washable.

  1. I haven't had the baby yet, so no experience, but I am definitely going to breastfeed in public.

  2. I have had 3 already so this is my fourth I will nurse and it does not bother me to nurse in public. I have never paid people much attention. I am doing what is best for me and my baby. Don't really care what they think. They don't have to look! :)

  3. I totally agree! I haven't gotten any terrible reactions from people when I nurse in public. Actually, with the twins, I was nursing both in public and a woman came up to me to pat me on the back for it and while I was talking, pulled out two babies from underneath the blanket. She was a little shocked.

Anyway, even with all of the recent movements towards breastfeeding, I still hear about women who are talked down to and frowned upon for public nursing.

  7. I breastfeed wherever I am, usually when baby is in the carrier so I can feed on the go. I haven't had any negative experiences at all. I usually just get smiles from the older women or nervous avoidance from the men.
