[Review & Giveaway] The Potty Cover

Now, that it’s summer, we are traveling all over the place.  We are hardly ever home anymore.  I love that we have such a busy schedule because it means we are having so much fun.  The only down fall of it is one of my biggest fears….public restrooms.  Or worse yet, porta-potties.

For the first crazy weekend of the summer, we had T-ball, Balloon Festival, Carnival and then Fireworks.  And this was the weekend I was able to try The Potty Cover with my daughter.  I’m still very disgusted with port-a-potties but these Potty Covers add so much more relief that I’m protecting her from who-knows what.

The Potty Cover is not just a traditional seat cover.  The sides and front unfold and drape down to keep your child from touching any part of the toilet.  Even if my daughter unexpectedly grasps the side of the toilet to keep from falling in, she still won’t come in contact with the toilet or the seat.

The Potty Covers come individually wrapped so that it’s easy to keep one or two in your purse or diaper bag.  That way, it’s always handy for when nature calls.  The top of the cover is made of soft fabric so it doesn’t stick to your child’s bottom.  The bottom of the Potty Cover is coated with plastic to form a waterproof barrier and serves as a non-slip surface.

My daughter is potty trained but this really would have been helpful during those training months.  During that time, we were scheduling our outings around potty breaks at home or family’s homes.  This is a must have for those that are in potty training.
