[Review & Giveaway] Easy Lunchboxes

I am a busy Mom-on-the-go.  Between after school activities, errands and visiting family, we spend  a lot time in the car.  Unfortunately, with so much time spent in the car, we frequently eat fast food for convenience.  I’m not proud of it but when life is so busy, what else is there to do?

I have found my solution!  Easy Lunchboxes makes me feel so much better because I can feed my kids a healthy meal on the road.  In the mornings while I’m preparing for the day, I make my kids’ lunches and keep them with me in the handy cooler until it’s feeding time.  The larger compartment holds a sandwich and each of the smaller compartments  can hold carrots or apples.  While the lunch box is not leak proof, I don’t find myself needing it to be anyway.  The kids are much happier with finger foods.

I love that the kids can open these lunch boxes themselves.  I have a full size van and I can’t just reach back there to get them set up.  So, when it’s time to eat, the kids can help themselves.  No more waiting between stops to eat a late lunch!  The Easy Lunchboxes are the perfect size to sit on their laps while they are strapped in their seats.  No need to worry about their food falling behind them or on the floor either.

The cooler that comes with the set holds 3 lunch boxes and 4 boxes come in the set.  I wish the cooler would have held all 4.  But, with Noah not eating independently, this works out perfect for me right now.  And when Conner is in school, I stored two lunch boxes in the cooler with 2 juice packs comfortably.

Occasionally, I have sent my oldest son to school with the cooler and Easy Lunch box.  He has to stay after school on Wednesdays for his math pentathalon and needs extra snacks and water to last him through the day.  This holds everything without having to stuff it to the max.  My mom has seen ours and is planning on using hers for her 12 hour shifts at work to hold her lunch and dinner.
