In a time where smart phones and tablets are the norm, sometimes it feels good to go back to good old pen and paper to take notes, lists and just brainstorming.  I’ve been carrying a great new comfort pen in my purse for a few weeks, called the Uglee Pen.

This ergonomic pen from Uglee Pen is great for people with carpel tunnel and arthritis and is great for children learning to grip for fine motor skills.   The pen is extremely lightweight and the shape of the pen is engineered to fit the hand more comfortably.  The writing is very smooth and I have never had a problem with skipping or clogging.

The grip on the pen is a gel handle so, it does take some getting used to.  I think with most pens, I tend to grip them harder and with the same grip on the Uglee Pen, it feels like I’m squishing it.  After a few uses, I was used to it and it’s now my go-to pen.

This pen was designed with functionality first instead of appearance by Dr. Lee.  At first it was called “Dr. Lee Pen” or “Ultimate Grip Pen” and together it was shortened to the the U G Lee Pen or Uglee Pen.  These pens also come in a variety of colors and ink colors as well.
